In this development support activity led by the Navy of Colombia and the Naval Reserve of Barranquilla, it was possible to benefit more than 1,200 people of the Community Council of Negritudes of the municipality of Berrugas, Sucre.
In a coordinated work conducted by the Colombian Navy and the professional officers of the Naval Reserve of Barranquilla, a development support activity was carried out in the municipality of Berrugas, municipality of San Onofre, Sucre, benefiting more than 1,200 low income people of the Community Council of Negritudes of this community of the subregion of the Montes de Mar铆a.
The coordinated work conducted by public and private institutions led to the benefit of the most vulnerable communities in the Department of Sucre, distributing 550 liters of bottled water, 175 food kits with basic products of the family basket, 1,200 wardrobe kits, 600 units of Toilet Paper, 290 canned juices, among other basic necessities, contributing to the stabilization of the territory.
For their part, the crew of the Navy Battalion n.13 and the team of the institutional broadcaster Marina Stereo, following all biosecurity protocols for the Prevention of COVID-19, carried out recreational activities, face painting, dances and games on trampolines and inflatables, providing a moment of healthy recreation to the participants of the activity.
