The Colombian Navy through the River Navy Infantry Battalion No.33 in a joint work with the National Army, the Colombian Air Force, coordinated with the Mayor's Office of Solano - Caquetá and the Santa Alianza foundation of Bogotá, carried out a support activity in Las Mercedes village, of the municipality of Solano.
During the activity that was carried out during the day provided medical care in the specialties of general medicine, dentistry, cytology, pediatrics, optometry, vaccination against COVID-19, prevention and development, in addition to veterinary services, thus benefiting 400 people belonging to the indigenous people Inga living in the region of the upper Caquetá.
In the same way, recreational activities were carried out and the distribution of donations represented in school kits, children's clothing, footwear, toys, agricultural tools, sports elements, outdoor paint and medicines took place.
These development support activities are the product of the unified operation of State institutions with public- private institutions, with which the Colombian Navy reiterates its commitment to the communities of the Colombian southeast.
