Bolivar. The Naval Museum of the Caribbean will open its doors for free on the last Sunday of each month to the public interested in knowing the naval history of Cartagena and the National Navy.
This is a strategy that is being conducted by the Ministry of Culture with the Workshop School to promote the importance of fortifications in the history of the heroic city and the country. Which is now complemented by the Caribbean Naval Museum, in coordination with the Tourism Corporation of Cartagena, as part of its commitment to maintain and disseminate the memories of the naval and military development of a port city, such as Cartagena de Indias
This year the Naval Museum of the Caribbean, under the Presidency of Rear Admiral Francisco Cubides Granados, who is in the same way Director of the Naval Academy of Cadets "Almirante Padilla", celebrates 30 years promoting the cultural and educational heritage of the Caribbean, with the experience of more than 500 years in the sea of Colombia.
