Antioquia In the in recent hours, after receiving a call for help, the Coastguard Station of Urabá in development of a search and rescue operation, rescued five people who were left adrift, after the shipwreck of the boat in which they were mobilized in the Gulf of Urabá.
At a distance of 5 nautical miles of the municipality of Turbo, Antioquia, five officials from Los Katios Natural Park were rescued thanks to the rapid reaction of the men of the National Navy, who transported them to the dock of the Urabá Coast Guard Station, providing medical care and leaving them in safe harbor.
The Coast Guard Station of Urabá calls on the community to comply with the safety regulations at the time of navigation, which stipulates the use of the lifejacket and the restriction to sail in unauthorized hours.
