Antioquia. In recent hours, the Urabá Coastguard Station of the National Navy, in a Maritime Interdiction operation, safeguarded the lives of 40 foreigners who sailed aboard the motorboat 'Yequesaya' in the Punta Reserva sector, in area of the municipality of Turbo on the Antioquia coast.
So far this year, 192 illegal migrants have been rescued in the Gulf of Urabá by the Colombian Navy.
The group of 40 foreigners from Bangladesh, Cuba, India, Nepal and Pakistan were transported to the facilities of the Coast Guard Station of Urabá where they receive medical assistance to be subsequently put into custody of Migration Colombia.
