Santander. More than 2,200 inhabitants of the hamlet "El Llanito", municipality of Barrancabermeja (Santander) were benefited with the Development Support activities Day, which was conducted by the Fluvial Checkpoint N 掳 31, belonging to the Infantry Battalion No. 17, in coordination with State institutions and private companies.
On this occasion, assistance was provided in general medicine, psychology, dentistry, orthopedics and gastroenterology; 130 medications were distributed. In the same way, activities of tree planting and additional services were carried out, such as presents giving, refreshments, shoemaking, vaccination and deworming of pets.
During the day, the activity counted on the support of Professional Officers of the National Army Reserve, National Police personnel, Firemen, Civil Defense, Colombian Red Cross, ICBF, Office of Peace and Coexistence, Health Secretariat of Barrancabermeja - Santander, Aguas de Barrancabermeja, INDERBA, media and private companies that joined this noble cause.
