In recent hours, the National Navy found the body of a young man who drowned while doing recreational swimming activities in the industrial zone of Cartagena.
Bolivar. The Coast Guard Station received an emergency call of the security team of the Maritime Terminal Argos, reporting that in a sector near the facilities of the company there were some individuals swimming, apparently a young man would have jumped into the water and disappeared, what made his desperate companions to ask for help. Immediately a Rapid Reaction Unit was sent to attend the emergency.
When verifying the situation, a team of divers to carry out the underwater search of the missing person was required. Few minutes after the beginning of the search operation, the lifeless body of a young man was found. Immediately the removal of the body, identified by his relatives, was coordinated with the Judicial Police.
The National Navy extends its condolences to relatives and partners of the deceased, while inviting citizens to report any emergency through the toll-free number 147 of the Network of Partners for Prosperity.
