The National Army works hand in hand with the institutions and this community in the south west of Meta, approximately 150 kilometers from Villavicencio. A livestock area that in the same way has, as a productive and economic base, the agricultural production of Cacao, bananas and cassava, operation that counts on the participations of small and medium producers in this subregion of the lower Ariari.
Committed to the economic revival of the country's vulnerable communities, soldiers of the National Army, The Mayor's Office of Puerto Lleras, the Civil Defense and the Municipal action Board, reached Ca帽o Morichito, a place hit in its economy after the confinement due to COVID-19, to provide technical assistance to various productive units that will help with the support of small farmers in the region, starting this work with a productive project, which consisted in the planting of 1500 cacao plants.
This pilot project in the same way seeks to consolidate partnerships among small farmers and then think about the transformation of the base product, encouraging associative processes conducted by communities, achieving greater accessibility to the State services strengthening the agro-industry in the territories.
