The mayor of Puerto Rond贸n and the community thank the National Army for the institutional work in this sector.
Within the framework of the Perseo Plan, Troops of the Quiron Task Force and the Eighteenth Brigade of the National Army will do permanent work with four platoons in the municipality of Puerto Rond贸n, deploying all the Resources at the service of the inhabitants, which allow unified ground operations.
These actions are being carried out in response to the early warnings and information provided by the communities, who brought to light a series of criminal actions that the residual organized armed groups have been carrying out against human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.
During his visit to Puerto Rond贸n, the commander of the Eighth Division of the National Army, Brigadier General Fabio Leonardo Caro, met with the local authorities to report himself available to work for the progress in security matters.
