This campaign of the national army and its program Fe en Colombia seeks to coordinate institutions and governance to generate benefits in communities, contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of the inhabitants.
In the framework of this campaign, men of the Support Battalion of Comprehensive Action and development No. 1 in support of the mechanized Group General Juan José Rondón No. 2, of the First Division, have been conducting activities to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Caracolí in the municipality of San Juan, the department of La Guajira.
There, next to the public institutions and the private sector, several activities such the improvement of infrastructure of houses, schools and places for sport were carried out through sponsorship rebuilding the walls of the houses, painting the walls of the church and the school and providing cleaning and washing of these places so important to the community. This is complemented by the maintenance and beautification of the green areas that provide the inhabitants of the sector, spaces of healthy recreation.
The materials for the execution of all of these works were donated by the inhabitants of the municipality, which provided elements for the construction of the first house, which was already given to the members of the family Carrillo Mendoza, who said: "thanks to the National Army, I have no words to thank, because without the support and assistance of them, I would not be here not right now, in our little house, now I can say that I have a home".
