An inter-institutional operation with the Attorney General's Office led to the finding of the drug, thus preventing its distribution
Military operations in the Colombian southwest against drug trafficking do not cease. This time, thanks to the joint and inter-institutional work conducted by the Colombian National Army and the Attorney General's Office, reached a Palmira hotel to find more than 700 kilograms of marijuana.
The operation against illegal activities was carried out by special troops of the Command against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, in support of the Third Brigade of the Third Division of the National Army. According to military intelligence information, the drug would belong to common crime groups at the service of drug trafficking.
This important operation leaves a loss to illegal groups in more than 1,100 million pesos.
Within the framework of the Perseo Plan, the National Army is constantly using all its differential Resources to carry out decisive blows against drug trafficking, in order to weaken the illicit activities of these structures that intend to generate anxiety in this region of the country.
