Through a wellness and recreation activity, the community was provided with general medicine services, theater presentations and the distribution of food aid.
With the aim of strengthening the ties of partnership with the communities of the north of the country, troops of the National Army, carried out in the municipality of Ciénaga, Magdalena, a wellbeing and recreation activity that benefited about 600 people.
The activity coordinated with the Banasan, Funiban, Uniban and Amigos Forzando Futuro Foundations, provided the attendees with general medicine, dentistry and pediatrics services; in the same way, the donation of food aid and the distribution of presents to the little ones were made.
During the event, Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Second Brigade to ether with soldiers of the Comprehensive Action Battalion No.1, worked to providechildren and adolescents of the municipality with theater presentations, puppet shows and children's games.
It is expected that these activities will continue to be conducted on a constant basis in other sectors of the department, with the aim of improving the quality of life of families in the Colombian Caribbean region.
The Second Brigade of the National Army will continue to coordinate efforts with non-profit institutions to generate well-being in the most vulnerable communities in the north of the country.
