At least 800 people recognized the work of the Bicentenary Heroes of the Brigade 13 that provided medical services and recreational activities, contributing to improve the quality of life of 40 elderly people in the locality of Suba, in the northwest of Bogot谩.
The Heroes of the Bicentenary of the Military Police Battalion No.15 in a work with the Local Mayor of Suba and the City Institute of Recreation and Sports, conducted a recreation activity and benefited 40 senior citizens of this municipality in the northwestern Bogot谩, with the purpose of improving the quality of life, the use of their free time and the strengthening of healthy habits.
In the same way, troops of the Infantry Battalion No.38 'Miguel Antonio Caro' and the municipal administration of Nimaima, in the department of Cundinamarca, conducted a great activity of medical services and wellbeing benefiting more than 700 people.
During the activity, health specialists worked to provide services in general medicine, optometry, dentistry, nutrition, physiotherapy, legal and aesthetic advice, vaccination of pets, among others. The children, young people and adults enjoyed recreational activities led by the Special Awareness Group; with the inflatables, an artistic show of clowns, balloon twisting, face painting, and music, they captivated hundreds of smiles of adults and children.
