The soldiers of the National Army, supported environmental institutions, in the municipality of Sotaquirá, Boyacá, with the planting of indigenous trees.
In a coordinated work with the different environmental institutions of the municipality of Sotaquirá, Boyacá, troops of the Mechanized Cavalry Group No.1 Silva Plazas, supported with the planting of 1,000 indigenous trees.
The environmental activity that was carried out in the rural area of the municipality, in the municipality of Carrizal, led to the planting of oak, contributing to biodiversity, protection of ecosystems and the improvement of the quality of life of the communities.
With this joint and coordinated effort, operations aimed at the protection of ecosystems are carried out, an effort that will led the inhabitants, to have natural areas and environments that contribute to their well-being and quality of life.
