A man from Cauca was arrested in Cajamarca with packages of kripy-type marijuana.
This long weekend in compliance with the institutional campaign Travel Confident, your Army is on the Way, soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No.18 colonel Jaime Rooke of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, in conjunction with the Air Combat Command No.4 -CACOM 4- and the National Police, through the execution of checkpoints and surveillance tasks, conduct a search in an inter-municipal bus in order to find a suitcase with seven packages containing kripy-type marijuana.
The soldiers, when checking the suitcase with the drug, ask passengers for documents identifying the owner of the luggage who was coming from Cauca bound for the municipality of Rioblanco. That person was arrested for carrying more than 3,500 doses of marijuana with a commercial cost of five million two hundred fifty thousand pesos (5,250,000 COP)
The individual was put into custody of the authority for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics.
In this way, we continue to prevent microtrafficking from continuing to harm Tolima's territory, especially young people, thanks to the permanent operations by the troops of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army.
