Within the framework of the Environmental Bubble and within its strategic lines of ecological restoration, the Thirteen Brigade of the National Army, through the Cavalry Group No.10 Tequendama, attended an environmental call in the Páramo de Chingaza.
The director of National Natural Parks of Colombia, Orlando Molano, made a visit to the nursery that the National Army has been working on, in the germination of high mountain plant material such as frailejon, puya, among others.
The call that was carried out in the facilities of the Chingaza National Park, focused the effort on the official launch of planting in processes of ecological reconstruction of high mountain plants as a strategy of economic reactivation, where it begins with a massive planting of 10,000 units of seedlings by the river La Playa.
With the visit of the Deputy Minister of Environment and Development, Nicolás Galarza, and representatives of the School of Business Administration, public was informed on the goal which is projected at 106,000 units of páramo plants for this year.
