Troops of the Vulcano Task Force find and destroy an illegal hideout with supplies for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices, apparently belonging to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, structure 33, in the municipality of Tib煤, Norte de Santander.
This operation was executed thanks to intelligence information that led to the whereabouts of this illegal complex in the Area Libre village.
It should be noted that more than 10 gallons of fuel, 1 kg of powdered sugar, 1 kg of sulfur, 10 kg of sodium chlorate, plastic trays for mixing substances, a plastic sifter and other chemical precursors used for the preparation of explosives were found by troops in this rustic structure, with which attacks against civilians and Military Forces are carried out.
As a consequence of the foregoing, the relevant denunciation will be filed to help in the investigation process, in order to identify those responsible for the possible crime derived from the use of illicit means and methods of war.
