During 2022, National Army troops have found a ton of marijuana in the department of Guaviare, thus harming the illicit activities of organized armed groups.
In development of the Heroes de la Libertad Bicentenary Campaign Plan, troops of the National Army in coordination with the National Police, in the municipality of Miraflores in the department of Guaviare, found a boat abandoned on the banks of the Guaviare River that inside carried eleven white sacks with rectangular packages.
After the inspection it was possible to establish that these packages contained creepy type marijuana, and that this would have a cost close to 646,000,000 pesos. According to military intelligence sources, this drug would go to other countries.
This result damages the illicit activities of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, First Structure, who intend to strengthen the armed and logistical links through drug trafficking.
