These arrests favor the well-being of young people and adolescents, especially in the center of the country's capital city.
Troops of the Military Police Battalion No.13 of the Thirteenth Army Brigade in coordination with the National Police, dismantled the organized common crime gang Los Gatos, which commit crimes such as theft and the commercialization of hallucinogens in some sectors of Bogotá.
During different procedures, the authorities made seven arrests, four by court order and three in flagrante delicto, through search procedures in the localities Los Mártires, Santa Fe and Kennedy; there was in the same way the finding of a semiautomatic firearm and a magazine for it, a traumatic pistol, 22 9-millimeter caliber cartridges and nine cartridges for traumatic weapon. In the same way, five transparent plastic bags with an airtight seal were found by troops, which inside contained a vegetable substance apparently marijuana, 32 grams of coca base and 106 grams of bazuco.
The seven arrested, among whom were three foreign citizens, were put into custody of the authorities and will have to answer for crimes such as association to commit crimes and trafficking, manufacture or carrying of narcotics. The National Army, through the Thirteenth Brigade, works permanently to ensure the security of the capital city.
