The National Army decisively damages the illegal activities of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 33, in the Catatumbo region.
It was possible to find and dismantle an illegal pool for the storage of stolen fuel, which belonged to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 33.
This illegal pool, had a storage capacity of 3,170 gallons of petroleum petroleum and was found in the village M-14 of the municipality of Tibú, Norte de Santander, this rudimentary structure was two meters wide by three meters deep, and represented one of the most important illegal wells of this criminal structure that commit crimes such as drug trafficking business.
In the same way, it is important to highlight that, for the operation of this illegal complex, it was necessary to use an abundant quantity of hoses of different dimensions, which were connected to the transfer line that distilled the petroleum.
After the revision of the material and the structure, the destruction was carried out in controlled conditions to prevent damage to the environment.
