Four of the arrests were carried out in flagrante delicto in the municipality of Puerto Gait谩n, Meta.
In the course of military operations, the National Army, in a coordinated effort with the Police, managed to arrest 15 individuals accused of belonging to a common criminal group at the service of the organized crime group Puntilleros.
In Puerto Gait谩n, Meta, four arrests were made, in flagrante delicto; troops found 29 40 mm grenades, two fragmentation grenades, abundant 7.62 mm ammunition, 1,250 grams of marijuana, 350 grams of coca base paste and 6 mobile phones.
In the same way, 10 other alleged members of the armed structure, who were in the municipality of Puerto Gait谩n, were arrested by court order issued by the Attorney General's Office.
On the other hand, a person of the same common crime group was surprised at his home in Villavicencio, Meta.
Detainees will be accused for the offences of association to commit aggravated offences, extortion, homicide, manufacture, trafficking in narcotic drugs, manufacture, trafficking in firearms and ammunition, as well as threats and displacement of inhabitants. The material found was put into custody of the authorities.
Two of those arrested known under the aliases La Muerte and 脩ero are accused of the murder of a social leader, which occurred about three months ago in the municipality of Lejan铆as, Meta. Another of them, known as alias Pincher, would be serving house arrest.
This group would perpetrate micro-trafficking activities, calls and collection of extorted money in the capital city of Meta and in Puerto Gait谩n. They would in the same way have the logistical responsibility of acquiring weapons for the criminal structure.
