More than a ton of the drug was found at the scene. It is estimated that the laboratory would cost more than 8,000 million pesos, about US$ 1,947,000.
Soldiers of the Twelfth Brigade of the National Army, in operations coordinated with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the National Police, dismantle a laboratory used for the production of cocaine hydrochloride belonging to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO, Míller Perdomo structure.
The coca complex was in the municipality of Buenavista, in the municipality of Valparaíso, department of Caquetá, where a rudimentary wooden structure and a plastic roof were found by troops, in which there were solid and liquid precursors and elements used for the preparation of the drug.
In the same way, 3,459 gallons of liquid supplies, 1,228 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 2,500 kilograms of solid supplies were found by troops at the site, among other elements that would be used to increase the weekly production of a ton of the narcotic, for its subsequent distribution.
According to information gathered by military intelligence, this residual organized armed group finances its criminal activity with drug trafficking, using the illegal profits for the purchase of weapons and explosives material, as well as to carry out logistical coordination of the criminal structure.
