Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the 13th Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Nation, Bogotá, reported the finding of 295 40 mm grenades in a house in the Venecia neighborhood, of the capital city of the country.
Thanks to information from military intelligence, it was possible to find the place where 2 cell phones and half a bag of links for 7.62 caliber ammunition were in the same way found, which were put into custody of the authorities. No arrests were reported during the operations.
The investigation is still ongoing in order to establish the origin and possible destination of the war material.
