During the last week, the soldiers worked for the different communities’ safety, health and wellbeing.
Soldiers of the Military Police Battalion No.15, attached to Brigade 13 of the National Army, arrived at the Aníbal Fernández de Soto school in the municipality of Suba, in the northwest of Bogotá, for a cleaning and beautification activity, where they worked on the collection of solid and vegetable waste, among others and in this way, recover the spaces for students and teachers to carry out their academic and integration activities.
On the other hand, soldiers of Artillery Battalion No.13 Fernando Landazábal Reyes arrived at the community of the Sisters of the Visitation, in the municipality of Bosa south of Bogotá, where 190 elderly in vulnerable conditions, gathered to receive basic aid, hairdressing services, nutrition and food baskets, in order to share a time full of recreation and smiles of the elderly.
In the same way, the main effort of the troops of the same tactical unit and the National Police, took place in the village La Mesa, in the municipality of Une, in Cundinamarca, where they carried out an activity of embellishment and environmental recovery with the planting of native trees in an school, managing to adapt the environments for children who will soon return to their academic activities.
