These individuals are accused of being in charge of carrying out extortions of money and controlling the logistics of this criminal group.
Troops of the National Army, in military operations, in the framework of the Bicentenary Plan Heroes de la Libertad and the Operation Agamemnon II, jointly, coordinated and inter-institutional with the Colombian Air Force, National Police and the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation, hit the Rub茅n Dar铆o 脕vila Substructure, of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo del Golfo.
During the military operation that took place in the R铆o Sucio village, in the municipality of Puerto Libertador, in the department of C贸rdoba, and In response to the recommendations of the early warning 083 of 2018, the capture of four individuals and the recovery of a minor was possible. In the same way, troops achieved the discovery of two small firearms, a fragmentation grenade, ammunition of different caliber, military accessories, more than 24 million pesos in cash and a boat. This material was put into custody of the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation.
The individuals were put into custody of the judicial authorities, who ordered to put them into to prison.
The minor, was put into custody of the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute, ICBF.
With this result, the National Army manages to hit the illegal income and criminal logistics of the GAO Clan del Golfo that commits crimes in sectors such as Juan Jos茅, R铆o Sucio, Tierra Adentro and Puerto Libertador.
