Eighty baskets of food were distributed to low-income families in Santa Rosa de Cabal, in the department of Risaralda, with the aim of benefiting and helping them continue the preventive isolation measure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The National Army works throughout the national territory during this emergency due to COVID-19, and this time it reached the Monserrate Alto sector, in the department of Risaralda, in coordination with the Club Rotary International Foundation and the municipal administration.
Men of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Battalion No.5 and troops of the San Mateo Battalion arrived at this place and supported the distribution of 180 food baskets and food aid packages in the homes of these people, accompanied by personnel from public administration.
The beneficiaries were mostly vulnerable families and older adults who are in their homes, complying with the presidential order of preventive isolation due to the Covid-19 virus pandemic.
The food baskets that were distributed were managed from Bogot谩 to Pereira, more precisely to the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal.
