This individual was one of the most wanted by the authorities of Santiago de Cali.
In assistance to Early Warnings 018 and 026 of 2018 and 010 of 2020, issued by the Ombudsman鈥檚 Office in the urban area of the municipality of Argelia, in the southern Cauca, and through military intelligence operations, troops of the National Army in coordination with the National Police captured Franklin Josue Timan谩 Hermida, who would be the second in command of the Organized Crime Group (GDO) Los Mesas, which is killed and extort in the Commune 14 of Cali.
This individual was wanted by the authorities for the crimes of aggravated homicide, association to commit crimes, extortion, manufacture, trafficking and carrying of firearms or ammunition and forced displacement.
With this result, it is possible to hit organized crime groups in the departments of Valle del Cauca and Cauca, thus contributing to the security and tranquility of civilians.
