Laden with presents, the soldiers of the homeland lit the spark of Christmas.
With the aim of bringing happiness and enthusiasm to children this Christmas, soldiers of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Command together with El Bosque University came to the National Cancer Institute to distribute presents. Similarly, in the San Francisco neighborhood in the locality of Ciudad Bolívar and together with troops of the Presidential Guard Battalion, several minors enjoyed the distribution of presents.
With this activity, carried out under all biosafety protocols to prevent the contagion of the COVID-19 virus, the soldiers sought to brighten this holiday season and bring a smile to more than 250 children in vulnerable situations in the city of Bogotá.
“During these festivities we distributed presents donated by kind-hearted people to our children, wishing them a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. May God bless them," said Second Lieutenant María Fernanda Castañeda Vargas of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Command.
In this way, the National Army will continue to bring joy and a light of hope and illusion in this holiday season that unites all Colombians.
