The work coordinated with the Government of Bolivar and the Fundación Constructores De Paz de El Salado, managed to benefit the peasant communities of El Salado.
This is the first result of the commercial exchange agreement after the realization of the business meeting, which led to the interaction conducted by the peasant Association through the Fundación Constructores De Paz de El Salado and the private sector.
In this way, in the early hours and with the logistical support of human talent in a truck of the Navy Infantry, were transported from the municipality of EL Salado to Cartagena, more than 7 tons of yam and chili pepper, to be distributed to the supermarket Megatiendas, who initiated the purchase of the production, and thereafter will continue supplying their stores with the products of the peasants of the Montes de María region, which are highly demanded in the region.
It should be noted that, among the exchanges achieved during the business meeting, there are the approaches and final stage for the conclusion of commercial agreements with Almacenes Exito and Logistics Agency of the military forces.
In this way, the Colombian Navy through the Caribbean Naval Force continues to promote community empowerment initiatives, in order to support the economic development of the peasants of this prosperous region of the Colombian Caribbean.
