Reiterating the commitment to guarantee the safety of the people of Cundinamarca, 20 people were deported to their country of origin for different crimes.
Troops of the Colombian Airborne Infantry Battalion No. 28 of the Thirteenth Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with personnel from Migracion Colombia, delegates of the municipal administration of La Mesa, Cundinamarca and the National Police, carried out an identification and subsequent deportation activity of foreign citizens who had been damaging the security conditions in the department.
During the activity, it was possible to establish the full identification of 52 people, 20 presented judicial notes to the National Police for different causes and disturbance of law and order, there were 16 men, some of them members of criminal groups who perpetrated the manufacture and commercialization of narcotics, as well as theft in the urban area of the municipality of La Mesa and San Joaquín. Similarly, four women, who apparently practiced prostitution and participated in thefts of the community of the municipality, were also deported.
These 20 people were deported once the administrative procedure was completed by the Cundinamarca regional office of Migración Colombia.
The National Army through the Thirteenth Brigade makes multiple efforts to work hand in hand with all authorities and ensure the tranquility of citizens.
