It is estimated that the damage to illicit activities is approximately 3000 million pesos.
In a rural area of the municipality of Cúcuta, Department of Norte de Santander, soldiers of Colombian National Army, in coordination with the National Police, found and destroyed in controlled conditions an illegal laboratory used to produce cocaine hydrochloride; more than 500 kilos of the drug were found by troops in the place.
This laboratory was composed of four rustic structures, where more than 50 kilos of coca base paste were in the same way found, and abundant liquid, solid precursors and elements used in the production of narcotics.
This complex that would have the capacity to produce more than a ton of cocaine per month. Through this result, the illegal activities of outlaw groups are directly disturbed, in about 3000 million pesos.
In this way, Colombian National Army continues to attack the factors of instability that slow down progress in the department of Norte de Santander.
