Thanks to the coordination of efforts conducted by the Colombian Navy, the Child's House, Dental Clinic of Cartagena, Juan José Payares Bustos Foundation, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Sharing For Kids, University of Cartagena and University of Sinú, a Development Support Activity was carried out in the municipality of Santa Catalina - Bolívar, benefiting more than 800 people in vulnerable situations.
The commitment and effort of public and private institutions led to the distribution of five thousand medicines, as well as donations, snacks, lunches and other implements to the most vulnerable communities in the department of Bolívar, thus contributing to the stabilization of the territory.
During the activity, medical services such as bacteriology, deworming, physiotherapy, family medicine, general medicine, nutrition, ophthalmology, orthopedics and pediatrics were in the same way provided.
The crew members of the Navy Infantry Battalion No. 12 carried out recreational activities, bringing a moment of recreation to the children, young people and adolescents who attended the activity.
