With health specialists and the support from different institutions, the National Army provided psychosocial well-being to the indigenous inhabitants of Puerto Carre帽o. More than 500 people were benefited in Development Support Activity in Vichada.
In a coordinated effort conducted by soldiers of the Combat Support and Services Battalion No.28 Bochica, a unit of the Twenty-Eighth Brigade, the comprehensive operation Battalion No.8 of the National Army, with the support of the unified operation carried out a Development Support Activity in the rural area of the municipality of Puerto Carre帽o, Vichada, providing civilians with different health services contribute to the wellbeing of the most vulnerable villages.
The event was held at the facilities of the Jos茅 Celestino Mutis Agricultural School with the accompaniment of the Colombian Navy, the National Police, the Vichada Governorate, the Mayor's Office of Puerto Carre帽o, the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing ICBF, the SENA National Learning Service, and other institutions that supported the activity led by the National Army.
This activity managed to benefit more than 500 people, who were assisted in health services such as dentistry, general medicine, physiotherapy, psychology, nursing and pharmacy, in the same way, medicines were distributed to treat the diseases.
In turn, the activity provided school kits for the children along with presents, toys, bags and clothes, providing a space for recreation to those who participated in the activity.
