The Caribbean Air Group started 2020 with an important operation for the benefit of the environment. It comprises the transfer of more than 4,400 kilos of recycling material in an aircraft of the Colombian Air Force from the island of San Andres to the capital city of the country, for its treatment and thus contribute to the preservation of the ecosystem of the region.
This initiative arose in support of the Alejandro Vélez Foundation that has worked in the collection of plastic elements together with other foundations of the island. In the same way, it works on the possibility of building the first social inclusion center for people with disabilities in the archipelago of San Andrés for the benefit of more than 65 families; this is done along with other social projects.
