The Colombian Navy, together with Colombian National Army, carried out a humanitarian assistance activity in the municipality of Dagua, department of Valle del Cauca, which benefited more than 200 people with free health and recreation services, among others.
Through the Navy Infantry Brigade No.2 coordination was carried out with the Municipal Mayor's Office of Dagua, the Ministry of Health of Buenaventura, the Re-Vida Foundation, the Angeles por Colombia Foundation, Colgate Palmolive and the Mallamas Indigenous EPS (health service); more than 20 people, including civilians and military, reached the Wounaan Noman indigenous people of the Santa Rosa de Guayac谩n reserve, Valle del Cauca, to conduct humanitarian assistance in this place.
During the activity, the services of dentistry, general medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics were provided, achieving 221 medical services.
Donations, medicines and recreational activities were in the same way given to the children of this community.
The Colombian Navy will continue to conduct different activities that lead to generate well-being to the Colombian Pacific communities, with the purpose of coordinating the State and its Resources, with the social initiatives of private enterprise, to strengthen institutions on the Pacific Coast.
