In their initial phase of education, soldiers who serve their military service have received instruction in different areas, thanks to the agreement with the National Apprenticeship Service, SENA.
In an inter-institutional alliance with the Santander Regional of SENA, soldiers from different units of the Second Division of Colombian National Army have been certified in different areas, such as basic courses in organic agriculture, fundamentals of occupational health and safety management system, rational management of pesticides, entrepreneurial behavior, quality management and archiving, among other areas.
So far in 2024, more than 100 soldiers serving their military service in Bucaramanga have successfully completed their academic training, with the purpose of completing their service to the Homeland, so they can be easily employed in other activities.
Today, during the diploma ceremony, 36 soldiers of the Comprehensive operation Battalion No. 2, along with the representatives of the Santander Regional SENA, highlighted the importance of this alliance for strengthening the knowledge of members of Colombian National Army, as well as the spaces and study times provided by the institution so that young people can successfully complete their classes, without neglecting the tasks of the service.
Currently, Colombian National Army has open the call for the second contingent of 2024; until next May 25, young people will have de opportunity to approach the nearest Military District, define their military situation and access the benefits that young people get when they serve their military service in any of our military units.
In this way, Colombian National Army will continue to train its personnel in different courses provided by the SENA, with the firm purpose of providing sufficient academic tools to its military personnel to face the challenges of life, inside or outside the military career.
