Army dismantles coca base paste production clandestine hideout in El Catatumbo

In compliance with the Heroes of Freedom Bicentennial Campaign Plan, troops of the Vulcano Task Force, military unit attached to the Second Division of the National Army, find in the rural area of the municipality of Tibú, Norte de Santander, and dismantled an illegal construction for the production of coca base paste; they also achieved the discovery of a vehicle and a motorcycle carrying stolen petroleum.
In parallel to these operations, military of the Engineers Battalion No.30. ‘Coronel José Salazar Arana’, found and recovered in the village El Quemadero, municipality of Tibú, a vehicle with Venezuelan license plates carrying 420 gallons of stolen petroleum; in the sector a motorcycle with a license plate of the neighboring country was in the same way found.
