Military forces activate protection route for social leaders.
The troops of the Joint Task Force Omega in a timely and inter-institutional operation, preserving the fundamental rights of the Colombians, deployed their troops in La Macarena, in the department of Meta, and San Vicente del Cagu谩n, in the department of Caquet谩, to save the life of the president of the Junta of Communitarian action of the hamlet Playa Rica and the life of his family, threatened by members apparently of the Armed Organized Residual Group, structure 40, that commits crimes in this zone of the country.
Once the facts were known, the Omega Joint Task Force, the Personer铆a, the Family Commissioner's Office and the municipal mayor activated the protection route, to provide the necessary assistance to this social leader.
The Rapid Deployment Force No. 1, the Colombian Air Force and the Personer铆a, entered the area and evacuated the leader's wife and daughters to the municipality of La Macarena, where they were received by the Family protection police station to continue with the route of protection.
Simultaneously from San Vicente del Cagu谩n, in the department of Caquet谩, together with the local authorities, security was given to the leader, to finally reunite him with his loved ones.
