Luyer Ordoñez Velos, alias Linares, a military political instructor, was arrested in a decisive joint, coordinated and inter-institutional operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force, Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, accused of belonging to the tenth structure of Martín Villa.
The accused was arrested for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes, extortion, illegal use of uniforms and badges, use of ammunition of the Military Forces, trafficking and carrying of weapons; the arrest was carried out in the El Salitre transport terminal in the city of Bogotá.
This person was traveling between Villavicencio and the country's capital city, coordinating the supply of war materials and military accessories, with the purpose of reinforce the confrontations that the Gao-r is currently engaging against ELN in the department of Arauca.
Alias Linares, right-hand of alias Arturo and alias Antonio Medina, linked to intelligence work in the departments of Arauca and Casanare, to attack against the Military Forces, in addition, would be responsible for the supply of weapons and communication equipment for the troops of the residual GAO of dissidents of the FARC Martin Villa, in the department of Arauca.
