As a result of the work carried out by troops of Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in the department of Valle, in coordination with the Childhood and Adolescence Police, and inter-institutionally with the Technical Investigation Corops of the Prosecutor's Office, it was possible to recover a minor of Venezuelan nationality, which had been reported as kidnapped.
At the neighborhood 12 de Octobre, in the city of Cali, units of the National Army, the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) and the Police began the search of a 4-year-old girl who had allegedly been kidnapped by the sentimental partner of her mother, according to the denunciation of the girl鈥檚 father made to the Attorney General's Office on the last 4 of January.
According to the information provided by the man, the minor was under the responsibility of her mother, who apparently lives in the state of Aragua in the neighboring country.
Through a search warrant issued by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office No. 15, the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the department of Valle, achieved the recovery of the girl, which was sent to a care center for the respective assessment and subsequently to the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute, where her rights will be restored taking into account what is established by law.
