Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) rescues two citizens in Cundinamarca
The military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) group Cundinamarca rescued in record time two citizens who under the modality of false Service were deceived and held against their will.
These are two entrepreneurs (an industrial engineer and his associated) who were called for a job in the savannah of Bogot谩, so they attended an appointment in Tocancip谩, where they were tied up and locked up. The kidnappers, who posed as members of the former Farc, intimidated the victims with firearms and threatened to harm their children and other family members.
Through videos, chats and phone calls, the criminals contacted the families of the kidnapped making a demand of 80 million pesos for their release, 40 million for each of the victims. It was so that the family moved to the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Cundinamarca, to carry out the respective denunciation. The Gaula immediately deployed the men of the special group, quickly and simultaneously with the Intelligence Unit carried out search and find work. The individuals released the victims due to the pressure of the troops.
It was in the same way evident that it was a common crime group, who seeing that they had nowhere to escape, abandoned the victims and fled. Subsequently, the four criminals were captured in rural areas by the Gaula men.
With this result, the military Gaula, in addition to returning the two citizens safe and sound to their homes, stopped the criminal operation of common crime groups who perpetrate kidnaping and extortion.
Another of the operations to highlight was one carried out by the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Nari帽o, who in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office of the nation rescue, in the municipality of San Pablo, The Citizen 脕lvaro Mej铆a Salazar, who had been in the same way kidnapped by common crime and for whom they asked 400 million pesos.
Thus, 73 tactical missions have been carried out during February by the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), 124 individuals were captured, including 16 for kidnapping, 68 for extortion and 40 for other crimes. In the same way, three citizens were rescued in military operations, three other people were released under pressure of the troops; war material was seized, as well as vehicles and motorcycles.
