After the corresponding intelligence work conducted by the men of the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Norte de Santander, with the support of the Civic Participation Network, and in a coordinated manner with units of the National Police, they reached the Caldalsia village of the municipality of Sardinata, it was possible to find an clandestine hideout where ammunition that would belong to the Organized Armed Group "Pelusos" was found.
In the place, the substructure “Elisenio Torres Villalba” of the GAO 'Pelusos', had stored 1550 units of 7.62 mm caliber cartridges. This ammunition had been stored gradually, and would have been used in attacks against the civilian population, the strategic assets of the nation and the security forces, in the department.
The war material was put into custody of the authority, who will determine the origin of the ammunition.
