This individual was the right-hand of the criminal Omar Pardo Galeano, alias Antonio Medina, main ringleader of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, substructure 28.
In a military operation carried out by units of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Casanare of the Sixteen Brigade of the National Army and in an interinstitutional manner with the Specialized Prosecutor's Office 5 Gaula, they managed to arrest in flagrante delicto an individual identified as El Indio or El Negro, when he was receiving money from extortion from one of his victims, in an urban area of the municipality of Pore, Casanare.
This criminal intimidated farmers and businessmen of the department of Casanare, through calls and WhatsApp messages, in which he demanded millions of pesos in exchange for not attacking on his life and his relatives. On this occasion, the victim contacted the National Toll-Free Line 147 of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), receiving sufficient advice and accompaniment so that it was possible to arrest this person.
According to the first investigations, alias El Indio or el Negro is part of the Terrorism Support Network of the GAO residual substructure 28, he was the right hand of alias Antonio Medina, main ringleader of substructure 28; in the same way, this individual was part of the former Farc, front 28, accepting the Special Justice for Peace, JEP, within the negotiation process abut he continued to commit crimes within the residual substructure.
The individual was put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office 5 Specialized in Casanare for its prosecution process.
