Thanks to the rapid reaction of Colombian Navy units guided by intelligence information and support from Colombian Air Force aircraft, it was possible to successfully intercept a go Fast boat in the area of the Gulf of Morrosquillo, near the municipality of San Bernardo.
The speedboat with four Colombians, was interdicted at sea by units of the Coast Guard of Cartagena, finding inside 2,113 packages containing the illicit substance.
The boat was taken to the dock of the Cartagena Coast Guard Station, where Judicial police personnel, after conducting the initial test were able to determine that it was cocaine.
With this severe blow to drug trafficking organizations, the Colombian Navy managed to prevent more than $ 71 million from entering the financial structures of outlaw groups.
This year units of the Caribbean Naval Force have managed to find more than 45 tons of cocaine in Colombian Caribbean waters.
