The activity is the result of inter-institutional coordination and had its epicenter in the municipality of Los Canelos, a model municipality of the First Division of the National Army. This operation led to provided social and health services to this important people.
This municipality is found an hour and a half of the municipal seat of Santa Rosa del Sur, Bolivar, there the Mayor's Office of the municipality, the Manuel Elkin Patarroyo ESE Hospital, the Joint Task Force Marte, the Jungle Battalion No.48, the Program Fe en Colombia and the National Police, provided the community with general medicine services and healthy recreation spaces.
The activity in the same way included the work of Professional Reserve Officers of the Tenth Brigade, the People's Representative for Human rights, the Agrarian Bank, Sisben and other institutions.
In the event about 2,500 people received assistance in specialties such as: pediatrics, dentistry, speech therapy, psychology, optometry and general medicine. In addition, advice was provided on reparations to victims, banking assistance, land titles, legal assistance, among others.
In the same way, the soldiers of the Comprehensive Action Battalion No.1, carried out recreational activities such as: clown shows, face painting, balloon twisting, trampolines and recreation, generating healthy spaces for the growth of children and adolescents.
This is the result of coordinated work at all levels conducted by the Military Forces and the partners of the Unified operation, these are strategies that contribute to improv the quality of life of the inhabitants of this region of Colombia; as well as reducing critical social indicators in this area that has been hit by variables of insecurity.
