So far this year, the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Choc贸 has captured more than 70 members of outlaw groups.

As a result of the operations being carried out in the framework of the 'Horus Plan' and the 'Victoria Plus - Stabilization and Consolidation Plan', the Joint Task Force Titan of the Seventh Division succeeded in hitting a decisive blow to illegal organizations, in the department of Choc贸.
The military operation took place in the municipalities of Quibd贸, Condoto and Istmina, where soldiers of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the Fifteenth Brigade of the Army, in coordination with the National Police, and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, captured nine members of the substructure 'Carreteras' of the terrorist organization Clan del Golfo.
These individuals were extorting money (from 500 thousand to 2 million pesos a week), from merchants, owners of establishments and other inhabitants of the mentioned municipalities of the department, in exchange for not threatening their wellbeing or their properties.
The detainees were put into custody of the Quibd贸 Prosecutor's Office and must face charges for the crime of conspiracy to commit an extortion.
With this important result, the Joint Task Force Titan of the Seventh Division manages to hit the finances of this illegal organization, taking into account they received up to 100 million pesos monthly.
