Similarly, 13 USB sticks, a drone and a laptop were found by troops at the scene. As for the material of military accessories, it was possible to find vests, camouflage uniforms, a bracelet alluding to the aforementioned armed group and trousers for exclusive use of the National Police.
All the confiscated material was put into custody of the authorities.
These results hit the armed and military capacity of this gang, preventing criminal operations that threaten the security of the Military Forces and civilians. In the same way, their mechanisms for carrying out criminal intelligence operations in the different mobility routes used to carry out crimes are weakened.
The Military forces will continue to combat the factors of instability that disturb the inhabitants of the municipalities of La Llanada and Andes Sotomayor in Nariño, in a joint, coordinated and inter-institutional work that leads to dismantling the organized armed groups that commit crimes in the south of the country.
