In recent days, the Pacific Naval Force has found 2,937 kilograms of alkaloids, which becomes a major blow to the finances of drug traffickers. They won鈥檛 receive nearly 100 million dollars.
In less than 24 hours, the Colombian Navy dealt two heavy blows to the drug trafficking organizations in the departments of Cauca and Valle del Cauca. It intercepted a boat that transported more than 1,003 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 151 kilograms of marijuana creepy. Troops also report the discovery of 120 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, in a ship, which would have sailed from Buenaventura to Peru.
The first operation was carried out in the department of Cauca by the troops of the Brigade of the National Army Against Narcotics trafficking, the Navy Infantry Brigade No.2 and the Pacific Coastguard Units of the Navy of Colombia, in The sector known as Caimanero Beach.
The suspicious boat without a name, manned by three men of Colombian nationality, upon noticing the presence of the Coastguard Units, undertook the flight back to the coast, where the military captured the individuals and during the inspection of the ship found 38 sacks.
The other blow to the drug trafficking organizations was carried out in the port of Buenaventura, during an underwater inspection by the specialized divers of the Navy of Colombia, who found in the sea box of the motorboat 'Mehuin', 120 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, arranged in eight suitcases which had the same color of the boat.
The false compartment was taken of the ship that would have sailed to Peru and taken to the facilities of the Colombian Navy in Buenaventura, where the judicial authorities determined that the suitcases contained 120 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
These results complement the findings made at the mouth of the Yurumangu铆 River, in the department of Valle del Cauca, where a boat manned by three Colombian individuals was intercepted transporting 1,663 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
This year, the Pacific Naval Force has found more than 57 tons of cocaine hydrochloride, preventing more than 1,800 million dollars from entering drug trafficking organizations as a result of its sale in the international illegal market.
