In a joint and coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Navy and the National Police, carried out in the rural area of Las Brisas in the municipality of Guamuez, Putumayo, it was possible to find, prosecute and subsequently disable an illegal structure used for the production of cocaine hydrochloride.
At the scene, 167 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, 9,627 liters of liquid supplies, 1,106 kilos of solid supplies and various elements valued at more than 800 million pesos were found, which directly affected the illicit economy of the Organized Armed Group Estructura 48, which commits crimes mainly in Putumayo
This directly harms these organized armed groups, thereby reducing their criminal activity in the south-east of the country.
