The paving project will connect four important sectors of the municipality.
In order to continue generating development in the Catatumbo region, and to improve the mobility conditions of the Tibuya inhabitants, the Engineer Battalion No.30 José Salazar Arana, coordination with the Mayor's Office of Tibú and the municipal aqueduct company, conduct in the municipality of Tibú, in the department of Norte de Santander, a concrete plates paving project that will benefit approximately 300 people.
The road infrastructure project is carried out in the Camilo Torres neighborhood, in the northeast of the municipality, a sector where military engineers work hard together with the community to pave the road.
“We want to thank the National Army for this work, it is a very important road in our community. In addition, the soldiers are in the same way supporting us with the adaptation of a sewer system that has been under construction for more than 25 years”, one of the locals said.
This work aims at the total paving of 84 meters of concrete plates, which will connect the neighborhood with sectors of La Unión, Villa Cecilia, Madrid Merlano and Miraflores. It will in the same way improve the mobility of people living in the area.
